Broadcasting Marlborough Lit Fest 2021

Updated: Apr 2, 2023

Our team have just completed thirteen hours of live broadcasting for Marlborough Lit Fest over three days.

We started planning the broadcasts in February this year after being commissioned by the committee and worked closely with them to ensure they were delivered reliably & seamlessly.

By deciding to offer a live streaming offering to their patrons the Marlborough Lit Fest team were able to ensure that if COVID had changed or lockdown continued throughout 2021 the festival was future proofed as all talks would have moved to online only. They gave their audience a choice, which paid off.

We provided three cameras to cover the talks in Marlborough Town Hall and mixed these live as they were happening. The sound was provided by a third party and sadly we did not have any control of this.

All talks were pay per view with tickets costing just £5 and they were very well received.

As well as providing kit and crew for the event itself we also pre-recorded one of the talks with actor Sir Simon Russell-Beale.

Thanks to Marlborough Lit Fest for having us and to Hiscox Insurance for sponsoring our coverage.

We hope to be back in 2022.
